The Duncan MacRae reproduction bagpipes are an exact copy of the original MacRae pipes played by Stuart Liddell.  Stuart's pipes were examined and measured by McCallum Bagpipes in order to craft an instrument with the sound that Stuart desires.

The SL4/FN is made from African Blackwood and features MacRae engraved alloy projecting mounts, beaded engraved alloy ferrules, engraved ringcaps, engraved slides, imitation ivory bushes, and an imitation ivory and engraved alloy mouthpiece.
