GHB A400 whistle

Introducing The Great Highland A440 Whistle!  A performance quality alternative to the practice chanter.  A true 440 instrument that plays with exact fingering of the Great Highland Bagpipe with the whistle's ability to play two octaves.  Since it plays the highland scale it is in the key of D and has perfect intonation for sitting in an Irish session.  No one will know you are working on your highland fingering technique.

The CarbonyTM Practice Chanter with counter-sunk finger holes speaks volumes above standard softwood or petroleum products.  The base chanter is carbon fibre with stainless steel fitments.  Accurate finger placement and tuning is key for this product.

FMM Pipers with their Peter Henderson Bagpipes

Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band have completed an historic season by winning the Cowal Championships at Dunoon. This completed the Grand Slam for the band led by PM Richard Parkes MBE, winning all 5 major championships. The Grand Slam was previously won by the band in 1993 and this title makes the band the first in history to do it twice.

RG Hardie have sponsored the band for 6 years and during this time the band has won 3 World Pipe Band Championships including the 2011 title. RG Hardie are very proud that their bagpipes are played by pipers in the band.  FMM pipers have provided invaluable feedback on new products over the years.

We would like to join the Hardie team in sending our congratulations to all band members.

At Gannaway New Zealand ~ The Bagpipe Centre,  we're proud to be the New Zealand Agents for Peter Henderson Bagpipes!
