The new multifunctional HBT1 is designed exclusively for the Highland Bagpipes and easy to use. The tuner correctly displays the pitch of chanter to harmonise with the drones while also displaying the note, frequency, calibration frequency and pitch position. It's simple, quick and easy to tune with the HBT1 for pipers of any standard.

The HBT1 features 5 individual modes- Highland Bagpipe Chanter, Drone, Metronome, Tone Generator and Chromatic. The tuner is superb for pipe chanter tuning with unparralled accuracy and in noisy environments the supplied clip microphone can be used. The HBT1 can be used as practice tool to monitor pitch, tempo and help improve blowing pressure by acting as a digital manometer. Each HBT1 tuner is shipped with the new HBTM Clip Microphone (packed separately), a standard clip microphone, earpiece and batteries so it's ready to use straight out of the box. For a tuner with so many features, it still fits in your sporran!

I have been playing the Gannaway products now for several years.  It has helped us win several Championships, including the 2006 World Championships in Grade two as well as the North American Championships in Grade two.  We have also been very successful with this product in grade one with having won ensemble and placing third in the Worlds 2009 qualifier.  I have found this bag to be of superior quality, very comfortable and tonally exceptional.

The shape of the neck is second to none, and the ease of playing the bag in is fantastic.  The bag can only be described as a “Sheep with benefits”.  The zipper that Gannaway has perfected has so many uses that makes playing easier, from the ease of tying in to seasoning, and quick access to any kind of water system.

We have played this product in every extreme weather condition there is, from 40 degree heat, to very wet and raining, and on the Curling Ice at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.  I can say without question that this bag can handle it all very well with no sacrifice for sound or tone.

I would not hesitate to recommend this product to any band or soloist.
